Note: The Red Line and the Purple Line share the same track and stations in the Downtown Los Angeles area. They both go to the Los Angeles Union Station.

Note also that from 6:36am until 8:36am, and from 3:11pm until 6:11pm, the Red Line and Purple Line trains are scheduled every 5 minutes in the Downtown area, alternating between Red and Purple, making them 10 minutes apart after the two lines split up and go their separate routes.

This is an unofficial schedule that is based upon the schedules and fares posted on the Metro, Metrolink, and ESTA web sites in March, 2009

You are strongly advised to double-check all times, stations, and fares before your departure. Use the hyperlinks to go directly to the information you need.
